Committee: Role and Responsibilities

Role:

The constitution of Bichitra Inc., amended on April 17, 1983, stipulates that there should be a four-member executive committee for the organization. supported by four additional members.

"Executive Committee- Bichitra will have a four (4) member executive committee consisting of the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer supported by four additional members. These members shall be elected for a period of  one (1) year".

Responsibilities:

 

Will plan and executive social, cultural events promoting Bengali culture for the greater Detroit committee
Manage organization finances responsibly and in accordance to government and local regulationsProvide ideas for improvement of member participationDo all that is necessary to maintain continuity of Bichitra Inc.Follow procedures for safekeeping of minimum organizational documentsIdentify and recommend target political and charitable contributions.
